We LOVE the story behind this awesome 3 year aged Tonkatsu sauce.Its amazing flavour is the result of a chance discovery in 1995. An earthquake had caused a fire in the company premises and sediment was left in the tanks until reconstruction was complete. When they reopened it was discovered the sediment had naturally aged to produce a thick sauce with an exceptionally rich aroma and flavour! This 3 Year Aged Tonkatsu Sauce is fantastic with panko coated meats, plus grilled meat and vegetables.A must with popular Japanese street food dishes Okonomiyaki (savoury pancakes) and Takoyaki (octopus in batter).
