Very beautiful suribachi and surikogi, aesthetically pleasing and pragmatically perfect. It was exactly what I was looking for with both items japanese made. The size of the larger suribachi is perfect for mixing ground sesame with greens and other stuff and then serving directly at the table. The surikogi (pestle) length is perfect for making grinding less effort. Glad I stumbled on you guys and your wonderful stuff.

I’m absolutely delighted with my new Suribachi, unlike other forms of mortar & pestle, the inner surface is finely grooved, making it ideal for grinding complex pastes.
On top of that, it has an innovative silicon foot to make it non-slip and if that wasn’t enough… it’s beautiful! I love it!
