This beautiful whisky tasting set is a curated selection of whiskies from one of Japan's most respected whisky producers, Nikka Whisky.
Founded by Masataka Taketsuru in 1934, Nikka operates several distilleries, including Yoichi and Miyagikyo, each contributing to a diverse range of high-quality whiskies.
This set includes five tasting bottles of different whiskies, from the Nikka portfolio.
Yoichi Single Malt:
Known for its bold, peaty character, Yoichi whiskies are crafted using traditional methods, including coal-fired pot stills, which impart a distinct smoky flavour.
Miyagikyo Single Malt:

Super Nikka Rare Old:
Super Nikka Rare Old was introduced in 1962. The creation of this whisky was deeply personal for Masataka Taketsuru, who developed it after the passing of his wife, Rita.
The aim was to create a blend that balanced rich, complex flavours with smoothness, embodying both strength and elegance.
Each set comes with tasting notes that provide information on the distillery, production methods and flavour profiles, enhancing the educational aspect of the tasting.
