With its soft mint green glaze and delicate floral shape, inspired by nature, this bowl is a beautifully crafted piece of Setoyaki pottery from Aichi Prefecture, Japan.

Setoyaki is one of Japan’s oldest and most respected ceramic kilns, originating over 1,000 years ago in the city of Seto, Aichi. Known for its craftsmanship, subtle glazing techniques, and everyday functionality, Setoyaki ware holds a special place in Japanese dining culture.

Its size makes it extremely versatile and is ideal for serving small dishes, pickles, sweets, snacks or dipping sauces. It equally wouldn’t look out of place on a shelf or dressing table as a decorative object.

Due to the delicate crackle nature of the glaze, we don’t recommend putting this bowl in the dishwasher or microwave.
