The complex flavour of yuzu holds notes of many familiar citrus: lemon, mandarin, grapefruit and yet remains entirely unique. Famously tart it lends itself to both sweet and savoury dishes and is spectacularly refreshing in cocktails or summer soft drinks.
Kochi is Japan’s largest yuzu producing area, bordered by mountains and the Pacific Ocean, it is a citrus grower’s paradise with abundant sunshine and rainfall.
