Shabu Shabu is a popular Japanese hot pot experience, where everyone at the table cooks their choice of paper thin meat or vegetables in a delicious dashi broth. The name Shabu Shabu means swish swish and comes from the sound of the light swishing of the ingredients when being cooked in the broth. Check out our recipe here.

Made with high-quality materials, and with a sleek, modern design, our shabu shabu pot ensures the broth remains warm throughout the meal. The broth must be prepared on a normal stove beforehand and heated to just reach boiling point, before transferring to the shabu shabu pot at the table. This pot is large enough for two people.

The shabu shabu pot consists of:

  • an aluminum pan, 170 mm in diameter and 66 mm deep
  • an aluminum pan support, diameter 145 mm, height 105 mm
  • an aluminium receptacle for burning gel or tea light candle
  • a wooden plate to place under the pan support
  • a wooden pan cover
