Matcha Tiramisu

Matcha Tiramisu

A deliciously indulgent recipe adding a Japanese twist to this classic Italian dessert. 

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons matcha tea powder
  • 1 cup (240ml) hot water
  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup (250ml) double cream
  • 1/3 cup (65g) sugar
  • 200g ladyfinger biscuits
  • Additional matcha for dusting

Method:

  1. Whisk the matcha tea powder in hot water until fully dissolved and let it cool.
  2. Beat the mascarpone cheese, double cream, and sugar together until smooth and thick.
  3. Dip the ladyfinger biscuits into the cooled matcha tea and layer them in a dish.
  4. Spread a layer of mascarpone mixture on top. Repeat layers.
  5. Dust with matcha powder before serving. Chill for at least 2 hours.
