Ingredients
For the Pancakes:
- 150g plain flour
- 1 tbsp good quality matcha tea powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 2 tbsp caster sugar
- 200ml buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp lemon juice)
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (plus extra for cooking)
For the Yuzu Syrup:
- 100ml yuzu juice
- 100g granulated sugar
- 50ml water
