Goto Tenobe noodles are a classic and ever popular thick noodle that can be eaten hot or cold. Made from high quality wheat flour and water, they have a firm and chewy texture that is perfect for absorbing the rich flavours of any sauce you choose to pair them with.
Goto Tenobe noodles have a unique production process, which involves a traditional technique known as 'tenobe' that has been passed down through generations of skilled noodle makers. This process involves hand-stretching the dough and cutting the noodles to create a texture that is both smooth and rough.
Boil in large amount of water for 6-7 minutes. Add dashi (stock) to the water to infuse with a rich umami flavour. Top with furikake seasoning or fresh wasabi.
