2 Year Aged
Traditionally made using only four natural ingredients, this two-year barrel-aged soy sauce offers perfect balance and deliciously complex umami. The ageing process adds robust umami depth, creating a rich, yet mellow flavour where the sharp saltiness has been rounded out.
3 Year Aged
This aged soy sauce has the thickest texture of any soy we sell. The velvety texture and bold flavour are derived from the double fermentation process. After ageing for two years, the moromi mash is mixed with fresh soy to kick-start fermentation all over again. A total of three years of ageing in cedar barrels brings depth and powerful umami notes.
5 Year Aged
5 years of fermentation bring depth, character and balance to this Japanese premium soy sauce. This soy sauce is aged in 100-year-old wooden barrels, producing a rich yet mellow flavour full of complexity. Our traditional Kamebishi soy sauces delicately combine acidity, sweetness, saltiness and rich umami.
